Basic Support Supervisor

  • Supervision of basic support officers, desktop rollout engineer and senior
    desktop engineer onsite
  • Escalate unresolved problems to the Intermediate Support Engineer
  • Liaising with onsite client representative on all escalation issues and closures
  • Manage receipt of asset deliveries and organize dispatch of assets as required
  • Al locate assets to the disposal team as instructed by the client
  • Manage surplus hardware in a location as designated by the client

Intermediate Support Engineer

  • Provide 2nd level onsite support for standard software and operating
    systems 10 PC, Lap1op and branch office servers
  • Installation of peripheral network attached assets {eg printers, scanners and
    switches)
  • Perform file backup and restore operations on branch office
    servers in accordance wi1h client instructions
  • Escalation of unresolved problems to the Wintel Support Engineer
  • Patching opera1ing systems
  • Break Fix issues in regards to cabling

Wintel Support Engineer

  • Provide hardware and software level l support to intel server environments
  • Installation of operating systems and application software on
    server platforms based on client requirements
  • Installation, monitoring and maintenance of patching solutions to client
    servers
  • Coordination and scheduling of regular change maintenance windows
  • Installation and Level I support of Intel based network
  • User TO maintenance across client servers
  • Understand and implement customer security policies across Intel server
    platforms
  • Administration and Level I support of client email systems (e.g. Lotus
    Notes, Outlook and other emailing system)
  • Under the supervision of the Senior Support Engineer,

Senior Wintel Support Engineer

  • Installation of nonstandard applications on PC, laptops and servers
  • Installation of nonstandard operating systems on PC, laptops and servers (eg
    Citrix and Novell)
  • Diagnosis and problem solving of issues on clients site
  • Maintain reliability, availability and security of Server environment in
    accordance with client's security policies
  • Re-build and re-image server as a result of hardware or software failure ns
    required
  • Replace defined "User replaceable'' failed parts when provided by
    warranty and maintains providers

System Support Engineer

  • Investigate and resolve issues relating to client hubs, switches. Routers and
